Born in Nis, Serbia, Yugoslavia in 1933, Radmila Teodorovic Novosel started her first Classical Ballet training in 1944, during the difficult times of World War two as a private student of famed Yugoslav teacher Mr.Mile Jovanovic. In 1946 she was admitted to the National Ballet School "Lujo Davico" in Belgrade, Yugoslavia, graduating with Honors in 1952 - class of famous Russian Emigree/Prima Ballerina and teacher Nina Kirsanova. After graduation she entered Ballet company at the National Theater in Belgrade, Yugoslavia, and soon promoted as Soloist. During her long Artistic career of twenty five years Mme.Teodorovic Novosel danced Soloist roles in traditional Classical Ballet repertoire - Carabosse, Fee Aux Miettes, Golden Fairy in The Sleeping Beauty, Friends and Moyna in Giselle, Pas de Trois, Neapolitan Dance, Two Swans in Swan Lake, Grand Pas and Temple Dancer in La Bayadere and in many Neo - Classical Ballet works such as Anna Karenina, Faust, Vibrations, Bizet Symphony in C, Legend of Ohrid, Cinderella, Fountain of Bakhchisarai, The Prodigal Son, Miraculous Mandarin and many other contemporary works. During this time Mme.Teodorovic Novosel worked with some of greatest Ballet Masters of the 20th. Century: Leonid Lavrovsky, Rostislav Zakharov, Dimitrije Parlic, Nina Kirsanova, Olga Yordan, Abdurakhman Kumisnikov, Nina Anisimova, Olga Lepeshinskaya, Mario Pistoni and many others.With Belgrade National Ballet she has toured and danced in Osaka, Tokyo, Wiesbaden, Cairo, Alexandria, Brussels, Paris, Palermo, Tehran, Venice and Oslo. In 1977 after retirement from stage Mme.Teodorovic Novosel started teaching at the National Ballet School's in Bor, Pancevo and shortly after moved to Italy, Sicily - Gela, where teaching ten years. In late 1980 emigrated to the United States and appointed Teacher, Ballet Mistress and Artistic Director of Fort Wayne Ballet, Indiana. Appeared as Movie/TV and Film actress in Yugoslavia.
